On August, 11th, Detroit Community Health Connection will ramp up a celebration for National Health Center Week. While we will host an Open House at our location at 13901 E. Jefferson, our efforts go far beyond the activities of the day.

For 45 years, Community Health Centers across the country have been providing comprehensive, quality primary and preventive care regardless of patients' income or insurance status - and National Health Center Week is the perfect opportunity to make sure everyone knows about it! Right here in Detroit, DCHC has been providing quality care to Detroiters for more than 20 years.

Community Health Centers are the key to a healthy community, because we are IN the community, IN the neighborhoods and around the corner from where you live and work. We are a part of the fabric of what makes our city great! And, we provide every level of health care services—medical and dental—to ensure that you and your family are and remain healthy from birth.

Our Open House will allow those of you who may not know about DCHC to come in and learn more about what we have to offer. Our services include Adolescent Care, a Healthy Teen Center, Adult Medicine, Dental Care, Family Planning, and Geriatric Medicine. We also offer care and support for HIV/AIDS, OB/GYN, Pediatric Care, Perinatal Care, Pharmacy, and Urgent Care. From prevention to intervention to treatment, DCHC is positioned to address most of your healthcare needs.

Yet, too many of our citizens do not take advantage of the accessible, quality services that are readily available to them. National Health Center Week offers the perfect opportunity for you and your family to come in and get to know DCHC.
